Way to go Steelers!

We packed up the kiddos and headed to Tom's Aunt Kathie's house for a Super Bowl Party. We had a great time with great food, family and a great football game too! Aunt Kathie really knows how to throw a party! We even converted Tom and Hunter to mega Steeler fans.

Here's a shot of the women of the family all decked out in their Black and Gold and ready to cheer their hearts out.

Olivia enjoys all of Aunt Kathie's homemade goodies, starting off with the coconut and chocolate layer bars.

Gryffin's just happy to be somewhere other than our playroom.

Nate and Hunter play a little ping pong as their own pre-game show.

Olivia and Gryffin have been fans of the pool table since last year at the St. Patrick's Day Celebration and March Birthday parties we have every year at Aunt Kathie's house. These are pictures from yesterday and then a couple from last March. It's so interesting to see how the twins have changed and grown during the past year. They still love the pool table as much as they did then.

They played their own version of pool where Olivia put all the balls in the pockets, then Gryffin took them all out. It was endless fun. That is, until they began to throw the balls off of the table, then the game was over.

Gryffin was ultra pleased with himself for taking the balls out faster than Olivia could put them back in...which in turn irritated her...which is every little brother's ultimate goal. Mission accomplished, Gryff.

Here they are upon the pool table last March. They look so different to me. They already had a lot of personality to them here at 7 months but now, they are truly their own little people.

Back to the Super Bowl Party and it's half time 3-D Commercials. This was the only part of the game the kids really watched. Notice Tom as one of the kids in the back.

Here's my favorite post win celebratory group hug shot of Tom, three of his sisters and his nephew. It might look like they've had too much to drink, but really they are just thrilled at the nile-biting victory of the Steelers. Did I mention that none of these people are originally from Pittsburgh? See how infectious the enthusiasm of Steeler Nation is!

I'll turn Tom into a full- fledged Steeler fan before long.
