Go Giants!

My Mom got all of her grandchildren towel and washcloth sets for christmas. In my opinion, it was a brilliant idea! Afterall, she has eight grandkids now and my little brother is only eight so that's a lot of kid gifts to think about. Everyone needs new towels especially when they're this cute. The older kids disagreed with the choice, of course. Perhaps they were just jealous that only the babies got hooded towels.
Here's my attempt to "style" Hunter's hair like Wolverine's. He wears this outfit everyday. Even on the days he goes to school, he comes straight home and takes off his school clothes and puts on a pair of jeans and a white undershirt. It is the middle of winter, and I never turn the heat over 65 in my house but he insists on wearing it anyway. I frequently wonder what his next obsession will be.I still squeeze Olivia and Gryffin in the co-sleeper. My goal for relocation to their bedroom and a real crib is April 1. Tom says that it's a "joke" literally. I can only hope that it will be a smooth transition. Hunter loved his crib and never, ever tried to climb out of it. I realize every child is different and these babies may hate their cribs, so I'm prepared for whatever is to come. In the mean time, I'll enjoy the time I have left nursing them in the middle of the night without having to actually wake up fully. Our bedroom is downsairs and the kids are upstairs so I'll have to trek up there for any lingering nighttime feedings. Maybe Gryffin will be eating food by that point and sleeping through the night!
Tom is from New York and a die hard Giants fan. As you can imagine he's really excited for Super Bowl Sunday. Hunter's first words were football and coffee. One of his first phrases was Go Giants! Hunter spoke at a very early age and I only wish I could have gotten this on video because it was really adorable to hear a thirteen-month-old baby say Go Giants! and with enthusiasm. We will be going to a Super Bowl party at Tom's Aunt's house tomorrow and starting the festivities with a Wii bowling tournament. I can't wait to get out of the house for a while and have a few free moments to myself while relatives hold the babies. I have my mind set on the hot tub for a relaxing soak!

Happy Groundhog Day!

adorable kids! their eyes are so beautiful and expressive. jack is still sleeping in our room in the pack n play. our bedroom is in the basement and his room is on the main floor. we are just unsure about him sleeping on a different floor then us, but you do it...does it make you nervous or are you just used to it? i know that he should be in his own room, but he sleeps through the night (i just stopped nursing when he turned 14 months). must give a bath. more later.
